Jeffrey M. Hulbert first joined Horing Welikson Rosen & Digrugilliers, P.C. as an associate in October 2013. Prior to joining Horing Welikson Rosen & Digrugilliers, P.C., Jeff worked for a small law firm for five years concentrating in landlord-tenant litigation and mainly appeared in Bronx County Housing Court.

At HHoring Welikson Rosen & Digrugilliers, P.C., Jeff primarily focuses on landlord-tenant litigation. He regularly appears in both the Residential and Commercial Parts of the New York County Housing Court handling holdover and non-payment proceedings as well as Housing Maintenance Code violations in the Housing Court’s HP Part.

Jeff also assists the firm’s Holdover Department in the commencement of a wide variety of holdover proceedings such as non-primary residence, illegal sublet, squatter, nuisance, breach of lease and lease expiration. His responsibilities include client intake, drafting of predicate notices and drafting Petitions.

By assisting in the Holdover Department and appearing in Housing Court, Jeff is involved with holdover proceedings from their inception in commencing the case through their completion in court either through settlement or trial. He communicates with clients on a daily basis providing status updates on current cases as well as discussing holdover options on prospective cases.

Jeff earned his J.D. from Albany Law School Union University in 2007, while simultaneously earning his M.B.A. through the Joint Degree Program with The College of St. Rose.

Jeff also earned his B.S. in Business Administration, graduating magna cum laude, from the University at Albany, SUNY in 2003.
